RUSSIAN VILLAGE

    

 is located in a picturesque place near the Bolshekhekhtsirsky Reserve in the village of Bychikha, Khabarovsk district. "Russian Village" is a cultural and educational program of the foundation.

A hut of the end of the 9th century was restored on the territory of the village. Russian stove with cast iron and a grasp, a large table and long benches, household utensils of migrant peasants: old samovars and irons, spinning wheels and homespun mats, chests, elegant sarafans and shirts. And in the red corner, as expected - the iconostasis. Samples of ancient folk crafts of Russia were placed on the shelves: pure Gzhel colors, bright Khokhloma paints, palekh sophistication, the warmth of birch bark products, the beauty of traditional Russian toys.

    

In the spacious interior of the Russian hut, filled with the spirit of antiquity, master classes in painting, painting Easter eggs, wooden toys, nesting dolls are held. The guests of the “Russian Village”, and most often these are children, listen to a bewitching story about the rituals of the Slavs, whose puppets became participants. They learn the techniques of manufacturing dolls, amulets, equals.

In the courtyard there is a sports ground for playing volleyball and basketball, a swing, 2 trampolines. The birch avenue is decorated with heroes of Russian folk tales made of wood by students of the arts and crafts department of the Khabarovsk College of Arts: Ivan Tsarevich and Gray Wolf, Mermaid, Baba Yaga’s house, mill, Russian dolls museum.
